I recently realized I have enough photos of my kids on just about every wall, every room, table space, and shelf in the house. I was looking for new ways to add some character to the walls in my house. I was browsing through Pinterest and I came across a few really good looking gallery walls. Most had some sort of photos of humans or dogs.

I wanted to display something in my living room other than people or pets. I started with some ideas I had in mind, like a giant letter and quotes or sayings that sounded familiar. I went to a few home décor stores, craft stores and even Target.

I started collecting things for about a week and a half and laid everything out on the floor, rearranging it about 50 times before I committed to hammering nails into the wall. I took a few things back and replaced them with smaller or larger items to fit the space above my couch.

Once I became non photo gallery pro, I tackled the room in my bedroom, which was a empty wall needing something to bring it to life.

and even did a superhero small gallery on the wall of my sons bedroom with stuff her already had, which made it even better!

I’m always curious to see what types of things other than photos people hang on their gallery walls. I’d love to get new ideas, send them my way!
